Are you an experienced, proactive Health and Safety professional ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced logistics and warehousing environment? We are seeking a highly competent Health & Safety Partner to join our client's team in Warrington. If you're passionate about driving a robust safety culture and ensuring regulatory excellence, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- H&S Operational Leadership: Lead H&S operations across multiple depots, conducting operational risk assessments, SSOWs, audits, and managing all incident and near-miss investigations, implementing effective corrective actions.
- ISO Management: Act as the lead for maintaining and continually improving the integrated ISO Management Systems, specifically ISO 45001 (H&S), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 9001 (Quality), including managing internal and external audits.
- Culture & Training: Drive a proactive safety culture across all shifts, deliver key safety training (inductions, toolbox talks), coach leaders in behavioural safety, and manage the site H&S training matrix.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure full legal compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all relevant UK regulations. Proactively manage operational risk, contractor safety, and site emergency preparedness.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is essential.
- Current IOSH membership.
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the logistics, transport, or warehousing sectors.
- Demonstrable exposure to ISO management systems (45001, 9001, 14001).
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- A track record of effectively managing operational risk.
