We are seeking an experienced Road Freight Operator to join a freight forwarder in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to manage road freight operations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating road freight movements, both FTL and LTL, across the UK and Europe.
- Liaising with customers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Preparing and processing all necessary documentation, including customs declarations.
- Monitoring shipments and providing regular updates to clients.
- Negotiating rates with hauliers and optimising routes for cost-effectiveness.
- Resolving any operational issues or delays promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Road Freight Operator within a freight forwarding environment.
