Air Freight Supervisor Are you an experienced Air Freight Operator looking to step up to a supervisor role in Manchester? Or already a supervisor wanting a new challenge. Our client, a leading freight forwarder, is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join their busy team and manage 5 team members. The Role: As an Air Freight Supervisor, you will be managing a team, overseeing the staff and handling all air shipments start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include: Handling Air shipments from start to finish. Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, and customers. Preparing and processing all necessary documentation (AWBs, customs entries, delivery orders). Arranging collections and deliveries. Monitoring shipment progress and providing updates to clients. Resolving any operational issues efficiently. Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company procedures. Managing staff The Ideal Candidate: Know the End to End process of both Import and Export Air Freight Wanting to manage a team and progress or already have experience as a supervisor. Strong knowledge of air freight procedures and customs regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in relevant industry software and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
