We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Support Coach to join our pastoral team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about student wellbeing, behaviour support and inclusion, and who wants to play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Working closely with the Pastoral teams and Senior Leadership, you will support the development of a positive behaviour culture across the school, ensuring that students are engaged, supported and able to achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Support Coach, you will be highly visible around the school throughout the day, proactively supporting students, preventing behavioural issues before they arise and helping maintain the highest standards of behaviour.
You will work closely with individual students to identify needs, implement support strategies and promote positive relationships that enable students to thrive.
Key Responsibilities

- Support students during lesson transitions, breaktimes and lunchtimes to help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Challenge and address any behaviour that conflicts with the school's values.
- Mentor and support identified students through regular meetings, target-setting and behaviour reviews.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young people, ideally within an educational, pastoral or youth support setting.
- Builds positive, professional relationships quickly and effectively.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Remains calm, confident and resilient when managing challenging situations.
- Has strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to inclusive practice.
- Is highly organised with good administrative and ICT skills.
