Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. Spreetail is seeking an Outbound Transportation Specialist to join our EU team. This role is responsible for managing outbound transportation operations across the UK and German markets, ensuring shipments move efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively from fulfillment centers to customers.

The specialist will oversee carrier relationships, shipping systems, rate cards, claims management, and operational escalations while partnering cross-functionally with Fulfillment, Finance, and CX teams to drive continuous improvement, operational accuracy, and reliable delivery performance.

How You Will Achieve Success
  • Own outbound transportation execution across the UK and Germany by proactively managing carrier volumes, resolving shipping issues quickly, and ensuring reliable customer delivery performance.
  • Maintain accurate outbound rate cards, Amazon shipping templates, and Linnworks routing rules to drive cost-efficient shipping decisions and minimize discrepancies.
  • Build strong partnerships with carrier contacts, fulfillment center teams, Finance, and CX to improve communication, resolve escalations, and support operational continuity.
  • Use data and reporting to identify trends in claims, carrier performance, shipping costs, and operational exceptions, driving continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure operational accuracy through detailed SKU audits, clean system data maintenance, and audit-ready documentation that supports scalable fulfillment operations.
What Experiences Will Help You In This Role
  • Experience managing outbound transportation, parcel operations, or ecommerce fulfillment in fast-paced logistics environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of UK and European carrier networks, including parcel couriers, pallet networks, and carrier escalation management.
  • Experience working within OMS/WMS platforms such as Linnworks and shipping systems like Amazon Seller Central.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities and experience using reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI to monitor operational and cost performance.
  • Proven ability to manage detailed operational processes with high accuracy, including shipping data validation, claims tracking, rate management, and cross-functional issue resolution.
