Spreadex is the only global operator to offer all these services under one brand. After 25 years of sustained profits, we’re now looking to take the next step and materially grow the business in the next 5 years on both the sports and financials side. Our ambitious plans are being supported by a material increase in our Marketing Budget and our expansion into Denmark. This opening provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join a growing team in a vibrant office based in St Albans, just outside London. The role will have an option to introduce working from home after 6 months service.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Junior Service Desk Analyst with a passion for IT, technology and customer service. This position requires an individual with excellent written and verbal communication, and good organisation and prioritisation skills. This position is ideal for an individual who is looking to start a career in IT who has a desire to learn new skills. The successful candidate will learn to provide support to our users. You will prioritise and respond to tickets that come from multiple channels such as email/ticket, chat, and walk-ups (and occasionally via phone). These are raised mostly by internal users; however you will be expected to communicate with our customers on the rare occasion they need help to resolve technical issues. When required you will perform diagnostic and root cause analysis. In addition, you will be involved in the monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks, including installing, configuring, and patching computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Requirements:
- No Service Desk/IT work experience required (entry level role)
- Proactive attitude with a desire to help people
- An enthusiasm to learn (technical and core skills)
- A keen interest in computers and technology
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Good organisation and prioritising skills
- Ability to take initiative and actively work to improve your skills and knowledge
