SPR Trailer Services is a trusted, full‑service trailer maintenance and repair specialist providing comprehensive trailer servicing, MOT preparation, quay checks, and 24/7 roadside breakdown support. We are looking for both Skilled and Trainee Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join our well‑established and respected team based in Felixstowe, Suffolk.
Company Benefits
- Competitive salary: Skilled Trailer Technicians can expect a base salary of around £38,000 per annum, with realistic on‑target earnings that can exceed £45,000.
- Double‑time pay is offered for all non‑rostered overtime.
- Holiday pay calculated on average earnings, increased holiday entitlement with length of service.
- Annual performance‑related bonus.
Responsibilities
- Carry out on‑site trailer servicing, maintenance and breakdown support as required.
- Prepare trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections and compliance checks.
- Attend roadside breakdowns and complete repairs or servicing at customer locations.
- Perform trailer inspections, servicing and repairs at the quayside.
- Follow company procedures, safe systems of work and Health and Safety regulations.
Full training and development will be provided. Trainees can expect to earn between £33,000‑£38,000 per year, depending on experience and overtime.
