SPR Trailer Services is a trusted, full-service trailer specialist providing comprehensive maintenance, servicing, MOTs, quay checks, and 24/7 roadside repairs. We are seeking both Skilled and Trainee Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join our well-established and respected team based in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as required
- Preparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections
- Attending roadside breakdowns and undertaking repairs or servicing at customer sites
- Performing trailer checks and repairs at the quayside
- Following company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations
- Working efficiently, responsibly, and to a high professional standard
A C+E licence would be an advantage (training can be provided if required).
About you:
As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you will bring relevant mechanical or engineering skills and ideally have prior experience in a similar role. Reliability, good time management, and the ability to perform well under pressure are key. A full driving licence is required. We also welcome Trainee Fitters or those looking to grow within a mechanical environment. With the right background and attitude, we will provide full support and training to help you develop your skills. Trainee Fitters can expect to earn between £33,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience and overtime.
