We are a small family-run property management company based in Croydon, providing social housing solutions in the South London in partnership with local councils.

Our portfolio comprises over 100 properties based in the South London and Gatwick area.

What we are looking for

A skilled and reliable maintenance person with a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills to join our team.

You will need a good knowledge of plumbing and basic electrics to tackle various tasks across the residential portfolio.

You should be positive and proactive and have the ability to problem-solve. You will need excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Corgi certification preferable. NIC certification not necessary.

You must have your own van and tools.

Responsibilities

  • General maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and plastering and painting tasks.
  • Routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues that require attention.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist with the installation of fixtures and fittings as required.
  • Communication with Head Office in regards to jobs.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed.

Experience

  • Good experience in a similar role or relevant maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance practices and repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and carpentry skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills (fluent English).

Requirements

  • Must have a valid UK driving licence.
  • Must have your own van and tools.
  • Fluent spoken English.
  • Live locally.
