Equipping participants with core policing skills, our two-year National Graduate Programme helps develop leadership, communication and problem-solving skills that will serve graduates and the wider community for a lifetime.
Detective SpecialismThe detective specialism of the programme is designed to equip graduates with the core policing skills required in modern investigative work. Throughout the two-year training programme, participants play an integral part in solving crimes while developing leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Neighbourhood Policing SpecialismThe neighbourhood policing specialism trains and develops graduates to become leaders in neighbourhood policing. Participants are placed in some of the most challenging communities, identifying issues and developing innovative ideas and techniques to tackle challenges residents are facing. The programme offers a unique blend of classroom learning, on-the-job training and real-world policing experience.
Core responsibilities include:- Investigating and solving criminal cases, working collaboratively with senior investigators.
