Job Description
MAC Construction (EA) Ltd are looking to recruit a hard-working, reliable Construction Labourer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
- Pay
- £14.00 – £18.00/hr (subject to experience)
The Role
Working alongside our site managers, tradespeople and subcontractors, your duties will include:
- General site labouring and housekeeping
- Loading and unloading materials
- Assisting skilled trades where required
- Keeping sites clean, tidy and safe
- Moving materials and equipment between sites
- Assisting with site set-up and dismantling
- Driving company vehicles to collect and deliver materials as required
- Any other duties associated with a busy construction site.
Requirements
- Must hold Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience working alongside construction-related trades such as ground works, carpentry, masonry etc.
- Good timekeeping and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting and working at heights if necessary
