The predicted salary is between 16788 - 16788 € per year.
Part time, 3 days per week, hours must include Sunday mornings, other working days/times are flexible. Actual Salary £16,788 per annum (full time equivalent £27,980).
We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic person to work with our Canon Theologian and Learning team, along with other cathedral staff and volunteers, to lead, enhance and grow our offering for children and young people. A key part of this role will be to enhance the Christian content of learning resources, and the Christian interpretation of events and exhibitions aimed at children and families in conjunction with our events team.
The role involves overseeing the cathedral’s ministry to children and encouraging and nurturing their faith through existing and new services and activities. It is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a practising Christian, and has experience of leading worship, although relevant theological training or equivalent ministerial experience is not essential.
The ideal candidate should have experience of working with children and young people, a robust grasp of safeguarding issues and procedures and have good pastoral skills. They should also have experience of working effectively with volunteers, have a high standard of written English, and be a clear and confident communicator.
