Spotlightjobs are working with a claims firm and due to their continued expansion, my client is looking to recruit a Recoveries Handler to join their team and play a critical role in securing settlements for their credit hire invoices.
Role Overview
As a Recoveries Handler, you will be responsible for recovering credit hire invoices under commercial hire agreements and the GTA (General Terms of Agreement). You will work closely with insurers, negotiating settlements, managing aged debt, and escalating cases through the litigation process when necessary. Given the high-value nature of their clients' vehicles, this role requires a self-starter with a resilient and determined mindset, as well as strong knowledge of credit hire recovery and the GTA.
Basic monthly salary plus monthly bonus up to £750 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Recover high-value credit hire invoices from insurers and at-fault parties in line with commercial hire agreements and the GTA.
- Prepare and submit invoices to insurers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Negotiate settlements on high-performance vehicle claims, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
- Proactively chase aged debt, ensuring timely payments and reducing outstanding balances.
- Escalate cases to litigation where necessary, working with solicitors and legal teams to pursue recovery.
