We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and highly organized Internal Communications Manager to lead our employee communications, with a heavy emphasis on driving our business transformation agenda. This role is initially offered on a 6 month FTC and we are ideally looking for someone available immediately or within 4 weeks.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between our core internal comms and our critical change initiatives. A significant portion of your time will be spent partnering with Programme Sponsors, People Partners and Transformation Management Office (TMO), ensuring all change initiatives are seamlessly coordinated, creatively executed, and clearly understood by our 330 UK & IRE based colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Transformation & Change Communications
    • TMO Integration: Act as the dedicated communications partner to the Transformation Programme Office and Programme Sponsors, translating project milestones into engaging employee narratives.
    • Campaign Delivery: End-to-end management of transformation comms, from high-level strategic sequencing down to day-to-day execution.
    • Scheduling & Coordination: Maintain a master schedule for all programme-related communications to prevent information overload and ensure a consistent cadence.
  • Core Internal Communications & Departmental Advisory
    • Business Updates: Own the delivery of regular company-wide updates, including financial performance, HR initiatives, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) campaigns.
    • Internal Comms Events: Plan and execute engaging internal communication events (e.g. All-Hands meetings, town halls, interactive workshops).
    • Departmental Advisory: Act as an internal consultant to various business departments and People Team, advising team leads on communication best practices, channel selection, and messaging structure. Manage the internal comms calendar to ensure that messaging doesn’t conflict or overload and that there are no lengthy gaps between interactions.
  • Stakeholder Management & Creative Execution
    • Senior Stakeholder Alignment: Confidently manage and advise senior leaders, ensuring their voice is authentic and aligned with overall business objectives.
    • Multi-Format Content Creation: Deliver high-quality, creative content across a variety of formats (e.g. video, articles, newsletters, interactive sessions) tailored to engage a diverse workforce.
    • Feedback Loops: Establish mechanisms to measure communication effectiveness, sentiment, and engagement, iterating strategies based on data.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence, challenge, and build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Transformation: Proven experience of developing narratives, and delivering communications for transformation programmes.
  • Creative Flair: A passion for storytelling with the ability to turn dry corporate data into compelling, visual, and human-centric content.
  • Organization & Detail: Superior project management skills; ability to manage multiple overlapping timelines without dropping the ball.
  • Tech & Channel Savvy: Proficiency with modern internal communication tools (e.g., Google, Slack, or email marketing platforms such as Braze) and the ability to recommend tools.

We offer a range of well-being initiatives, including private medical insurance, excellent parental leave, a working globally policy, mental health support, assistance programmes, and social gatherings. We also provide a pension scheme and various other benefit schemes. Plus, we all get our birthdays off work and enjoy 25 days of holiday per year. We’ve also got you covered with life assurance and exclusive perks like the Star card and our Step Further Awards (our employee recognition programme) to recognise your dedication. For those working via the hybrid model (in the office and at home) we’ve made commuting easier with our Season Ticket Loan and Cycle to Work Scheme. You can also take advantage of complimentary access to our Racing Post Members Club, complete with an Ultimate Membership.
