Role

A temporary opportunity has arisen within the graphics team at Spotlight Sports Group, an industry‑leading business covering the fast‑moving worlds of horseracing and sports betting. As an in‑house graphic designer, the successful applicant will work on an exciting range of print and digital content across the company. From daily newspaper visuals for the editorial team to motion graphics for social channels for marketing, this role covers a lot.

Responsibilities (Key accountabilities)

  • Compile creative work that supports the growing needs of the business
  • Produce error‑free work at pace with the correct branding and tone of voice
  • Flexibility to work on a range of projects simultaneously, whilst managing various stakeholders' expectations

Qualifications (Requirements)

  • An excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
  • Graphic design experience working in a business environment
  • A proactive, confident, can‑do attitude and deliver strong creative ideas
  • A keen eye for detail, with high‑level artworking and typographic skills
  • The ability to work with brand styles and follow brand guidelines, whilst working across numerous projects
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal English

Working hours

Five days a week but the role will entail some weekend and evening work as part of a rota. This role will initially be for 2 months, with potential to extend.
