We’re working with a fast-growing, customer-focused business in the professional services sector that is expanding its marketing team with a newly created Marketing Manager role. They value experience from all sectors, but it is key to have experience from print, direct mail or similar and experience managing agencies. As Marketing Manager, you’ll take ownership of press and insert campaigns, a key part of the organisation’s customer acquisition strategy. Strong experience across print and direct response is essential. Working closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders, you’ll plan, deliver, and optimise performance-led campaigns, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement. You’ll also have exposure to wider channels including broadcast, PR, and direct marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee press and insert campaigns across a variety of print channels
  • Manage agency relationships from briefing through to execution and optimisation
  • Develop compelling, on-brand campaigns (including copy where required)
  • Analyse performance and optimise campaigns based on data insights
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and ROI/ROAS tracking
  • Support activity across additional marketing channels (TV, radio, PR, direct mail)
  • Monitor market and audience trends to inform strategy
  • Ensure all activity aligns with brand and regulatory requirements
About You
  • Proven experience managing press and/or insert campaigns
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing and performance metrics
  • Experience working with agencies across planning, buying, and creative
  • Confident managing budgets and interpreting campaign data
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Desirable:
  • Experience within a regulated or B2C environment
  • Exposure to multi-channel marketing campaigns
