Our client is a fast-growing, in-house global DTC and ecommerce business with a market-leading hero product. Having scaled rapidly on a global level, they continue to expand their team and are looking for a Head of Performance Marketing to oversee paid social and manage a small team. This is a hybrid role with time in the London office, a very generous bonus and range of other benefits along with direct access to senior leadership and strong learning and development support.
This new role is a key hire - to lead the team and drive digital performance. This role will continuously refine and scale the end‑to‑end creative testing engine that powers marketing performance across an eight‑figure annual budget. Your success will be defined by marketing efficiency, driven through strategic creative direction and streamlined results-focused processes.
As Growth Lead you will shape the strategy for a multidisciplinary creative team of strategists, producers, and editors, owning output at true eight‑figure scale. Get ready for impact – your decisions will directly influence the company’s bottom line, with clear, tangible results.
Your digital marketing expertise will see you lead on briefs to creative strategists, editors, and producers and translate performance data into actionable creative hypotheses: new hooks, angles, formats, and concepts, and hold the team accountable to executing them with rigour.
Naturally you will use data and analytics for informed insight, owning the feedback loop between creative output and paid performance and you will live and breathe Meta and YouTube metrics: ROAS, CPA, hook rates, hold rates, CTR, thumb-stop, CVR. These will be at the heart of all your decisions and team management and you will continually create a living library of what works and what doesn’t!
What do I need
- Digital marketing and growth expertise from DTC/Ecommerce
- Deep understanding of Meta ad performance, demonstrable experience running structured creative testing on Meta at meaningful spend levels
- Strong experience overseeing a team, leading by example in a creative team involved with scripts, briefs or storyboards for paid social video
- Confidence using data and analytics to inform creative decisions
- Natural curiosity for what makes people click, buy and engage
- Familiarity with creative analytics tools a bonus (Motion, Foreplay, or similar)
