Our client, a leading UK infrastructure organisation, is entering a major phase of growth and transformation. With new markets opening up and a wave of innovation underway, they’re looking for a Content and Social Media Manager who can elevate their digital presence, sharpen their narrative and bring their brand to life across social and content channels. This is a standout opportunity to influence a brand at a defining moment, combining strategy, creativity and hands‑on execution to deliver real commercial impact. This role is three days in their Reading office.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the organisation’s digital voice, shaping how it communicates across content, social and storytelling. With the business moving into emerging categories where awareness is still developing, your work will play a crucial role in building understanding, credibility and demand. This is a hybrid role spanning strategy and creation, where you’ll build a consistent content engine that strengthens brand perception and drives measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Lead LinkedIn and organic social strategy to build authority, thought leadership and category clarity
- Run a consistent publishing rhythm including series, amplification and community engagement
- Define tone of voice and content standards across the brand and senior leadership
- Create compelling, high‑impact social content with strong hooks and clear CTAs
- Align content with brand narrative and priority campaigns across marketing, web and comms
- Collaborate with Comms, Brand and business leaders to surface the right stories, including culture and talent
- Monitor and optimise performance across engagement, audience quality, themes and downstream impact
- Apply deep LinkedIn expertise including formats, algorithm insights, community building and exec amplification
Requirements
- A proven ability to turn LinkedIn or similar channels into a genuine growth lever for a B2B brand
- A mix of creativity and commercial thinking, generating ideas, testing quickly and iterating based on results
- Outstanding copywriting skills, able to turn complex topics into clear, engaging narratives
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and shaping brand‑level messaging
- A proactive mindset, curiosity and a drive to build something high‑impact
