Our client is a highly creative music organisation, championing collective voices and overseeing policy and outreach as well as DE&I across the music industry. They are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to act as a brand guardian and oversee all PR, marketing and communications activity on a temporary basis ongoing, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent role. It is a lovely, supportive office environment, that offers hybrid working (2 days remote working + 3 days from their London office) & regular staff socials. YOU WILL NEED TO BE FREE TO START 12th Feb at the latest.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of the annual PR communications and marketing plan.
- Hands-on involvement in events, content creation, social media, website content and CRM.
- Planning and implementing the PR and media relations plans.
- Develop partnerships with external organisations.
Qualifications
- A strong track record in PR and marketing communications.
- Exceptional writing skills, as evidenced through publicised written material and creation of copy, blogs, social media and/or journalism.
- WordPress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and CRM experience essential.
- Video editing skills, ideally Final Cut Pro.
- Creative social media ability across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X.
- Basic ability across design software such as Canva, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience in events/PR and dealing with the media.
- An effective and open communication style (verbal and written).
- Membership of a marketing (or similar) professional body is a bonus!
