Our client is an independent creative agency renowned for their award-winning creative work. They are looking for a curious, innovative and collaborative Account Manager, passionate about the world of advertising. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in central London, 2 days WFH per week.
As an Account Manager you will be a key member of the account handling team, reporting into your Account Director and managing an Account Executive. You will be working with international clients and internally with management, creative services, creative team, studio and designers. As part of the role you will be at the centre of the projects – the eyes and ears as the process evolves from briefing from client, to building internal creative brief, talking to the team, reviewing the creative work, keeping client up to date and presenting work back to them.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with clients through face-to-face meetings and being a key daily point of contact for all communications.
- Supporting Account Director and managing an Account Executive.
- Managing all media production working with clients, media companies and internal teams to deliver campaigns and projects accurately and efficiently.
- Creating and managing detailed media, internal press, digital schedules, and timing plans for projects and keeping ahead of deadlines.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and news – updating the team with findings.
- Writing comprehensive creative briefs for the team, after a client briefing.
- Managing client expectations and progress of projects.
- Working closely with Creative Services so that briefs are clear and can be trafficked through to studio in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reviewing creative with an open mind, always keeping in mind the brief and proposition.
As Account Manager, you will play a key role in the team as you will be at the centre of projects, client relationships and work collaboratively alongside media and digital agencies.
Requirements:
- 3 years + agency experience, with at least one year at Account Management level.
- Degree in marketing, business or other relevant field is desirable.
- Experience with financial services clients or regulated industries is beneficial.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Effective communicators, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to manage multiple projects with an awareness of budget.
