A leading organisation within the education sector is seeking a capable Events Specialist to help lead the planning and delivery of outstanding conferences, exhibitions, webinars, events and networking activities. This role would be suitable for someone looking to move up to Events Specialist level, who is passionate about the events industry and ideally educational opportunities for all. This is a predominantly remote role, and you will need to be in the office at least once a week and for meetings.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, partners and suppliers, you will manage the event lifecycle, ensuring events are delivered on time, within budget and exceed delegate expectations. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end organisation of in-person, virtual and hybrid events.
  • Develop and oversee event plans, timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors.
  • Oversee delegate registration, communications and customer experience.
  • Manage event marketing activity alongside internal teams.
  • Produce post-event reporting, analysis and recommendations.
  • Ensure events are delivered to a high standard and aligned with organisational objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing conferences, exhibitions, webinars and events.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable using event management platforms, CRM systems and Microsoft 365.
