Our client is a fast-growing D2C business operating at the intersection of ecommerce, performance marketing and consumer psychology. With a rapidly expanding customer base and a data-led approach to creative, the business is scaling quickly and investing heavily in strategic, performance-driven content to fuel growth. They are now looking for an experienced Strategist to join their high-performance Growth team and take real ownership of creative direction across ads and landing pages. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
You will work closely with media buyers, designers, editors, UGC creators and landing page teams to turn insights, trends and customer psychology into high-converting creative that drives measurable results at scale.
What will I be doing?
- Developing creative concepts rooted in customer pain points, reviews, surveys & support insights
- Analysing competitor ads and platform trends across Meta, TikTok and YouTube
- Translating product benefits into hooks, angles, scripts and visual storylines
- Building structured creative testing roadmaps for planned, data-led experimentation
- Reviewing ad performance to identify winning hooks, fatigue signals & optimisation opportunities
- Using metrics - thumbstop ratio, hook rate, hold rate, CTR and CVR to inform creative decisions
- Turning performance insights into new creative iterations and test ideas
- Writing clear briefs for designers, editors, UGC creators and influencers
- Providing script structures, shot lists, messaging hierarchy and hook variations
- Ensuring creative execution aligns with strategic intent and positioning
- Developing landing page messaging including above-the-fold content, offers and objection handling
- Aligning ads and landing pages for consistent, conversion-led messaging
- Supporting a weekly creative testing pipeline across new concepts, iterations and formats
- Maintaining a creative insights library of winning hooks, angles, patterns and scripts
What do I need?
- 2–5+ years’ experience in DTC marketing, creative strategy, performance creative or paid social
- Strong preference for experience within beauty, wellness or supplement brands
- Proven track record of developing ad concepts that scaled effectively
- Experience collaborating with media buyers, designers or growth teams
- Deep understanding of consumer psychology, emotional triggers and direct-response marketing
- Ability to interpret ad performance data and translate insights into creative decisions
- Strong copywriting and scripting skills
- Highly structured thinker, able to build systems, not random tests
Nice to have
- Experience working with UGC creators or influencers
- Familiarity with CRO or landing page optimisation
- Knowledge of platform creative tools such as Meta Ads Library or TikTok Creative Center
- Comfortable reviewing creative using Figma or similar tools
