- Drive the development of standardised merchandising surfacing capabilities, prioritising reusability and consistency.
- Coordinate the creation of dynamic surfaces that adapt to user insights and centralised decision systems to drive business goals.
- Ensure integration with non-owned channels and achieve cross-channel consistency.

- Implement a mature content management system integrated with decision systems.
- Collaborate with other teams to define clear contracts and dependencies, avoiding fragmented and implicit dependencies.
- Prioritise building reusable core capabilities over individual projects and platformisation when needed.
- Collaborate with internal partners to define strategies, guardrails, and rules for merchandising activities.
- Ensure the team adopts consistent patterns for software development and communication.
- Lead resourcing and hiring needs for the Surfacing team.
- Be responsible for the implementation of Surfacing content investments including Content Management, Design Systems, Dynamic Surfacing, and Surfacing Selection & Orchestration.
Who you are

- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and development best practices.
- Experience with building and scaling user interfaces and multi-channel experiences.
- Knowledge of content management systems, design systems, and dynamic surfacing techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving technology strategies across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with user facing product development (Web or Mobile).
- Experience with machine learning and data-informed decision making.
