The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the infrastructure, tooling, frameworks, and capabilities needed to welcome a billion customers. You’ll join the Core Infrastructure studio within Spotify’s Platform mission, specifically the Manifesto squad. This team builds and evolves the foundational infrastructure that powers Spotify at scale—helping hundreds of engineers ship faster, more reliably, and with confidence.
You’ll lead a team working on critical systems that enable resilience, performance, and developer productivity across the company.
What You'll Do- Lead, support, and grow a team of engineers working on core infrastructure systems used across Spotify.
- Set clear direction and priorities, balancing long-term platform investments with immediate product needs.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional leaders to shape infrastructure strategy.
- Drive technical excellence, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems.

This role is based in Stockholm or London. We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in-person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
