You’ll join the Core Value & Engagement product area within our Core Experience studio. This team builds and evolves some of Spotify’s most loved features—from Social Messaging to Wrapped and our Playlist Platform. We focus on reducing friction and helping users connect more deeply with Spotify every day. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, design, and data partners to shape engaging, high-impact user experiences at scale.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with peer engineering managers to support delivery across the Core Value & Engagement area.
  • Lead a cross‑functional engineering team with a mix of skills and experience levels.
  • Support and coach engineers to grow, develop, and do their best work.
  • Contribute to technical direction and ensure strong execution across your team.
  • Work closely with product, design, and data partners to build meaningful user experiences.
  • Help align teams on priorities, goals, and delivery plans.
  • Create an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performing team environment.
  • Identify and remove blockers to keep teams moving forward.
  • Guide the adoption of AI‑assisted development practices to improve quality and speed.
  • Stay close enough to the code to support technical decisions and ensure strong implementation.

Where You’ll Be

This role is based in Stockholm or London. We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in‑person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
