A Head of Paid Media is needed to join an established, award winning digital marketing agency with an outstanding reputation for delivering measurable results through long term client partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious senior Paid Media professional who's ready to step into their first Head of role or someone already leading a small team looking for greater autonomy and influence.

You'll inherit a strong client portfolio, lead an experienced team, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the agency's Paid Media offering. Unlike larger agency environments where decisions can be slow and opportunities limited, this is a genuinely influential leadership position. You'll work closely with the agency's directors, have the freedom to introduce new ideas, improve processes and help drive future growth, all within a flexible, grown up working culture built on trust rather than presenteeism.

As Head of Paid Media you'll lead a team of Paid Media specialists while remaining close enough to the work to provide technical direction when needed. You'll develop integrated Paid Media strategies across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta, manage several key client relationships, support new business pitches and ensure the department continues to evolve alongside changes in technology, AI and platform capabilities.

This is a commercially focused leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact, build your reputation and create long term career progression as the agency continues to grow.

To qualify:

  • You should be a Head of Paid Media, Paid Media Manager, PPC Manager, Senior PPC Manager, Performance Marketing Manager or similar with a CV that demonstrates significant hands on experience within a Paid Media or PPC agency environment.
  • Strong expertise across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, with Meta experience as a supporting channel.
  • Technical knowledge of conversion tracking, first party data, Enhanced Conversions, Customer Match and offline conversion imports.
  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing Paid Media professionals.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with senior clients and confidently present strategy and performance.
  • Commercial awareness with experience identifying opportunities for client and agency growth.
  • Current knowledge of AI tools and how they can improve campaign delivery and team efficiency.
  • Experience working with lead generation campaigns or regulated sectors such as insurance, healthcare or financial services would be advantageous but isn't essential.

In return you'll receive a competitive salary of £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, flexible hybrid working with complete autonomy over how you structure your week, private healthcare, health cash plan, pension, generous holiday allowance, ongoing professional development and industry training, plus the opportunity to help shape the future of a successful and growing digital agency where your contribution will genuinely be recognised.
