About the Business: A leading specialist in supplying their products to retailers as well as a well-supported online following, they have built a reputation for excellence in their industry. Based on the outskirts of Petworth, this family-run company has gone from strength to strength over the years, operating from a site complete with a warehouse and offices. You’ll be joining a committed and hardworking team in a busy, yet varied and interesting role. The role is office-based, working 9am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Role: Reporting to the Owner-Directors, you’ll become the “go-to person” for customers; the work is varied and can include:

  • Customer Relations: answering inbound calls, emails and greeting customers for site visits, qualifying sales enquiries, liaising on any warranty issues – always ensuring a high level of customer service in line with this premier, recognised brand.
  • Supplier and Brand Liaison: building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations (Product training will be provided).
  • Sales Support: handling incoming enquiries both B2B and B2C.
  • Administration: management of the CRM system, invoicing, processing orders and general administrative duties.
  • Key point of contact between customers, internal team and warehouse.
  • Managing their online catalogue and price list updates.
  • Create and maintain business reports as required.
  • Other duties, as and when required.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Experience in a customer-focused environment is essential, together with an office management/administration background.
  • Confident communicator across phone, email and face-to-face; able to build rapport and handle both B2C and B2B relationships.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), training will be given on their bespoke in-house CRM system.
  • Based within commuting distance of the GU28 area – this is an office-based role.
  • A full UK driving licence is required, and access to a car is essential due to the office location.
