About the job

Join Us as a Business Analyst at cardfactory!

If you love turning ideas into action and making sense of complex challenges, we\’ve got a role that might just be your perfect fit. At cardfactory, we\’re on the lookout for a Business Analyst who\’s ready to dive in, connect the dots between our business, project, and development teams, and help us move forward with clarity and purpose.

What You\’ll Be Getting Up To

You\’ll be using your prioritisation skills to shape requirements and create documentation that keeps everyone on the same page. You\’ll be right in the thick of things—helping us grow, evolve, and deliver real impact.

This role is all about aligning project goals with our wider business strategy. You\’ll build strong relationships across teams, including senior leadership, and make sure communication flows smoothly so we can spot dependencies early and keep things running without a hitch. You\’ll dig into requirements, map out processes, and challenge assumptions to find the smartest way forward. You\’ll also work closely with our development and QA teams to shape testing plans, support materials, and get involved in user acceptance testing when needed.

And it doesn\’t stop there—you\’ll be part of our Business Analysis community, sharing ideas and best practices, and helping shape business cases before projects even kick off.

This is a hybrid role based in Wakefield, with the flexibility to work on-site 2-3 days a week.

What We\’re Looking For

  • You\’re a proactive self-starter with significant, demonstrable experience in business analysis—skilled in requirements engineering, process modelling, and aligning work with strategic goals
  • You ideally hold a BCS or IIBA certification, and you\’re confident working across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • You bring solid knowledge of supply chain or business development—bonus points if you\’ve worked in logistics, warehousing, wholesale, or with EDI systems
  • You\’re a clear communicator and strong organiser, able to lead stakeholders, influence outcomes, and keep complex projects running smoothly
  • You\’ll have in-depth, hands-on experience as a Business Analyst—someone who\’s not just familiar with the tools and techniques, but knows how to apply them to drive real results

Why join us?

At cardfactory, we\’re all about celebrating life\’s little moments—and behind the scenes, we\’re transforming how we work. You\’ll be part of a fast-moving team where your ideas actually get listened to, your insights make a difference, and your work helps bring smiles to millions. Plus, we\’re nice people. Promise.
