About the role

We’re hiring a Junior French Translator to support our French-language content across product pages, editorial, marketing, and social media, reporting into the International Marketing Manager. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years’ experience who enjoys writing, understands brand tone, and wants to build a career in commercial translation within e-commerce.

Key responsibilities

  • Product page (PDP) translations (approx. 40%)
  • Editorial articles and press release translations (approx. 30%)
  • Banner and website content translations (approx. 10%)
  • Email marketing translations (approx. 10%)
  • Social media caption writing (approx. 10%)
  • Website QA and email testing (occasionally)

About you

  • Fluent in French with excellent written language skills
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a similar translation role
  • Strong copywriting ability and attention to detail
  • Able to adapt tone of voice for different channels and audiences
  • Experience using Trados and CMS platforms (Prismic beneficial)
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and content types
  • Working well under time pressure whilst maintaining high standards of quality

Education (preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1) in Languages, French, Translation, Business with Languages, or a related discipline

Eligibility

  • Must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
