Salary: £25,000-£28,000 dependent on experience

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring marketer to join a leading brand in the sports media and events industry. Working within a 5-strong team, you will:

  • Support the multi-channel marketing campaigns for our key events, creating and deploying comms across including social media, email, and onsite, and utilising several platforms including HubSpot, Canva and WordPress.
  • Work across the marketing of our digital products, delivering on campaigns to promote whitepapers, webinars, and other digital exposure initiatives for our clients.
  • Deliver on the marketing plans to drive the growth of our subscription and marketing products.
  • Work across key areas of growth for the business, helping to take new and emerging products and brands to the market.
  • Assist in delivering on brand growth objectives for SportsPro, ensuring the brand reaches new audiences and maintains strong connections with existing ones.
  • Optimise event websites and create engaging marketing assets for both the marketing and commercial teams.
  • Analyse marketing data to optimise campaign performance and share insights with the team.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team and wider business, fostering strong relationships and sharing insights.

About You

This role is the perfect fit if you are a junior marketing executive, looking to gain wide exposure across all facets of marketing as you take the next step in your career. You will have:

  • Basic knowledge of event marketing, with a focus on both the live cycle of events and ongoing campaigns.
  • An interest in working on a diverse range of marketing responsibilities, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the industry.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Creativity and a drive to produce high-quality communications across all marketing channels.
  • Strong data reporting and analytical skills to measure and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport across multiple teams and functions.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HubSpot and WordPress is a bonus but not essential.
