The role

We are looking for a hands-on digital production leader to own how SportsPro's content reaches our audience. This role is responsible for platform distribution strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp, managing a freelance creative pool of video, podcast, and design specialists, and overseeing podcast production logistics from guest scheduling through to final edit. The successful candidate will work alongside our Head of Editorial as a peer, collaborating at the point of commissioning to map distribution pathways before production begins. This is a role for someone who can set strategic direction and roll their sleeves up in equal measure.

Key responsibilities

  • Own platform production and distribution strategy across all SportsPro channels.
  • Establish and maintain the weekly production rhythm across editorial, social, video, podcast and freelance workflows.
  • Work alongside the Head of Editorial to commission content and map distribution pathways before production begins.
  • Manage two in-house social producers and coach them to improve output across platforms (including podcasts) which map to the content strategy.
  • Manage and brief freelance Video.
