The Role
Sports Apparel/Fashion Designer with up to 5-6 years’ experience required to work within an established design team to help on all areas of the business. Primarily Apparel and Graphic.
SportsPro are a multichannel operator with well-developed and highly successful wholesale and franchise businesses with customers mainly in the UK but also across Europe. SportsPro provides Pro Football Kits under our exclusive license with Hummel. We also work with numerous Football and Rugby Clubs in the UK and throughout Europe supplying Sports Fashion Apparel, Accessories and Official Retro Product.
You will:
- Lead and take ownership of your Briefs with individual Clubs
- Create style bibles for coming season pro kit for Professional Sports Teams
- Work with Pro Sports Clubs to curate training ranges with a mix of in-line and SMU product
- Work closely with the Account Managers and Commercial team to align product offers
- Support production with artwork and key visuals
- Create bespoke SMU training ranges with a focus on graphics
- Have a keen attention to detail including coding of products
- Produce design overviews and product information functions
- Attend fit sessions with the technical team in order to maintain fit consistency within product area
You are:
- A sports/lifestyle apparel / Graphics designer, with a design related degree.
- Comfortable creating detailed Tech Packs with Graphic sizing etc.
- Passionate about design and able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the individual Pro Clubs brand DNA
- A great communicator with an enthusiastic and engaging manner
- Have a good sense of humour
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work to a set critical path.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new skills and demonstrate a can-do approach
- Experienced in using Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft office
- Able to drive daily to our head office near St Albans
