Key Responsibilities
- Actively seek new business.
- Conduct thorough research to identify key prospects and plan outreach strategies.
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels (calls, emails, chats) to ensure a continuous flow of potential customers.
- Work with the marketing team to produce compelling presentations to deliver.
- Build lasting relationships with key decision-makers to drive future growth.
- Research target accounts, generate leads and follow up on sales prospects.
- Attend sales meetings, events and training sessions to stay updated on market trends.
- Report weekly sales activity and pipeline updates to management.

The Person
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or a similar sales role.
- An understanding of financial KPIs, gross margins and costings.
- “Thinking out of the box” attitude to bring in new customers.
- Ability to make commercial decisions based on company’s KPIs and targets.
- Proven skills in outbound prospecting and lead generation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM tools for effective lead management and tracking.
- High energy, self-motivation and a drive to consistently meet and exceed targets.
- Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
