Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Huddersfield Giants to join our experienced sports medicine team. We are looking to recruit a Physiotherapist or Sports Rehabilitator with a special interest and track record in supporting the development of junior athletes.

The Lead Pathway Physio will be responsible for leading all aspects of medical provision for the Pathway teams. They will support the Junior Pathway Therapist (scholarship) in their delivery of medical provision to the Scholarship team. They will be expected to continue the high standards set by the first-team medical department and employ excellent communication and organisation skills.

The role is Full-time, the Academy team train in the afternoon/evenings and on weekends. In-season (Feb-Oct) matches usually take place Wednesday evenings or on weekends, with Away games incorporating some team travel.

The duties of the Lead Pathway Therapist are as follows:

  • Assessment, triage and treatment of all Academy Players.
  • Manage the rehabilitation of all injured academy players, in conjunction with the Head Academy Strength.
