About Sportsmith
Sportsmith is the leading content and education platform for sports performance, rehabilitation, and sports science professionals. We create world-class in-person and virtual events that attract hundreds of practitioners from elite teams and institutions across the globe. Past venues have included the Etihad Stadium (Manchester), the Intuit Dome (Los Angeles), with expansion planned into Europe, Middle East and Australia.
As we grow, we’re committed to building a vibrant community around our contributors and audience. To help us deliver the best events in the industry, we’re looking for an Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of our global events calendar.
Role overview
The Events Manager will be responsible for planning, marketing, and delivering a diverse range of events, including large-scale conferences, virtual experiences, and intimate community gatherings. You’ll manage event projects from concept through to execution, working closely with our internal design, social media and sales team, and also with external partners to ensure a seamless, high-impact experience for every attendee.
For the right candidate, there is ample opportunity to branch into broader production and project‑management work as Sportsmith scales and your interests evolve. We actively encourage self‑driven experimentation and innovation, giving you the freedom to test new ideas that move the brand forward. Expect a dynamic and supportive environment that rewards creativity and proactive problem‑solving.

- Innovation & growth
Contribute ideas for new event formats, partnerships, or locations aligned with Sportsmith’s global expansion goals. Monitor trends and benchmarks in the sports and events industries to ensure continuous improvement.
