We are looking to hire a Lead Delivery Engineer (DevOps & CI/CD Leadership) to join our global Technology team. This is a challenging, fast-paced, and exciting environment with plenty of opportunities to influence and grow the technology area.
Role Description
This role is critical in shaping and guiding the technical strategy and execution of platform engineering efforts, with a strong focus on modernizing infrastructure, scaling CI/CD capabilities, and championing engineering excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate has deep experience in cloud-native platforms, infrastructure as code, and automation—paired with strong leadership and a collaborative DevOps mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable delivery platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering continuous learning
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align platform capabilities with delivery needs
- Lead cross-team initiatives and platform migrations (e.g., Jenkins to GitLab-CI)
- Maintain high standards of platform reliability, security, capacity, and performance
- Support hiring, onboarding, and knowledge sharing
- Assist in incident management and operational excellence
- Promote cost awareness, observability, and performance optimization
- Enhance team skills through knowledge sharing and setting quality benchmarks
- Advocate for non-functional requirements like monitoring, alerting, logging
Requirements
- 8+ years in senior or lead roles in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Experience leading engineering projects and teams, both technically and managerially
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and prioritize effectively
- Experience with cloud-native platforms (OCI, GCP) and Kubernetes ecosystems
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, FluxCD), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Proven track record of platform modernization and process improvement
- Strong scripting and programming skills (Bash, Golang)
- Understanding of security, SRE principles, and cost optimization in cloud environments
- Effective troubleshooting skills in Linux environments
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
