The Role
As Purchasing Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in both the operational delivery and strategic development of our purchasing function. You’ll ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of materials, parts, and services, maintain efficient stock levels, and support business operations to guarantee customer orders are fulfilled without delay.
Responsibilities
- Maximise purchasing efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate stock records and supplier details.
- Review and recommend changes to stock levels.
- Seek cost-saving opportunities.
- Scrutinise sales orders and requisitions.
- Raise purchase orders.
- Liaise with suppliers.
- Develop supplier relationships.
- Vet new suppliers.
- Source new products and suppliers.
- Ensure correct invoicing.
- Post month-end stock adjustments.
- Support service departments.
- Uphold company culture and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records.
