SNTV is looking for a Producer to help shape and deliver short-form, social-first sports content across SNTVPLAY and its Main Newsroom. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes sport, but is equally passionate about everything around it, from entertainment and fashion to music, lifestyle and wider pop culture. The job isn’t just to cover sport. It’s to understand its place in culture, spot the moments around the action, and turn them into content people actually want to watch.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce short-form, social-first content for SNTVPLAY across sport, entertainment and culture.
  • Identify strong editorial angles from press conferences, interviews, training sessions, arrivals, behind-the-scenes access and social trends.
  • Work quickly to turn raw material into engaging digital content across multiple platforms.
  • Help develop repeatable formats and strands for SNTVPLAY.
  • Spot the moments around the action: emotion, personality, humour, style, tension, atmosphere and access.
  • Support shoots, interviews and on-location productions where required.
  • Write strong headlines, captions, scripts and social copy.
  • Work closely with editors, producers and the wider newsroom to ensure content is accurate, sharp and platform-friendly.
  • Bring ideas that help SNTV expand beyond traditional sports news coverage into a more lifestyle, entertainment and social-first space.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong editorial instincts and a genuine love of sport.
  • A strong understanding of social platforms and what makes content work online.
  • Interest in the wider culture around sport: music, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, fan culture and athletes as personalities.
  • Ability to spot a good moment quickly and shape it into a clear story.
  • Fast, flexible and comfortable working under pressure.
  • Strong writing skills, especially for short-form scripts, captions and headlines.
  • Creative, curious and open to new formats.
  • Confident working across a wide range of sports, including less obvious or lower-tier events.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in sports content production, ideally across both editorial and branded content.
  • Strong knowledge of the global sports landscape, with an interest in the broader cultural context of sport.
  • A deep knowledge of and understanding of the current social media landscape.
  • Excellent creative thinking and storytelling skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Technical Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Da Vinci Resolve.
  • Experience with using / creating on-screen graphics and a passion for digital production workflows.
  • A willingness to embrace new technologies and utilise emerging tools to enhance workflows.

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent full-time role.
  • The role will be based at our office in Chiswick Park, London with hybrid working: minimum 2 days per week.
  • International and domestic travel may be required.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary.
