Sports Interactive are seeking a Copywriter to sit within our Marketing & Communications department. In this role, you'll work closely with the Brand, Content and Community teams with a focus on crafting engaging copy for both the Football Manager brand and wider studio across all facets of marketing and comms. You'll support the delivery of clear, engaging copy across a wide range of marketing and communications activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing clear, compelling and creative copy for a range of marketing needs across brand and content initiatives through social, web, CRM, packaging, digital store pages, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborating with design, marketing and business development teams to ensure copy is aligned with content and brand strategies and meets legal and licensing requirements.
- Support the development and maintenance of a consistent brand tone of voice across platforms and touchpoints.
- Reviewing, editing and iterating copy based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Working closely with Community leads to provide clarity and guidance for any copy required for language localisation or translation.
- Managing assigned copy projects effectively, balancing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality work to agreed deadlines.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for creative campaigns and new initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- A minimum of 2–3 years' experience working in a copywriting (or relevant role).
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with a flair for storytelling.
- Familiarity with the major social media platforms and writing for digital‐first audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and take on constructive feedback.
- A passion for football is beneficial, with a good understanding of the discourse that surrounds the game and what topics/trends resonate most with fans.
