To provide efficient administrative and customer service support within the sales office, ensuring customer enquiries and orders are handled promptly and professionally. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting daily sales operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and monitor the customer service inbox, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
- Provide live chat support to customers, assisting with enquiries in real time
- Process and input customer orders accurately onto the system
- Answer incoming customer service calls and deal confidently with enquiries
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Escalate complex issues to the Sales Manager where appropriate
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
This role is a 9 month fixed term contract with possibility to extend to 12 months. This is a term time only position, working 4 days per week, 8.30am - 5pm.
Qualifications- Essential: Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Comfortable managing live chat platforms and email enquiries
- Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Desirable: Experience in order processing
- Experience working within a sales office environment
