Overview
Workingwithin Revenue Protection, the Trading Investigator willbe responsible foranalysing large and complex datasets to support intellectual property protection, revenue recovery, riskidentificationand commercial intelligence activities.
The role will focus onidentifyingtrends, anomalies, suspiciousactivityand commercial opportunities across Sportradar's products, servicesand partner ecosystem.
Combining advanced analytical techniques with investigative thinking, the analyst will produce actionable intelligence, support strategic investigations, and deliver insights that help protect and maximise the value of Sportradar's data, contentand commercial rights.

- THE CHALLENGE
- Analyse large and complex datasets relating to customer activity, product usage, content consumption, distributionchannelsand commercial operations.
- Develop monitoring frameworks toidentifyunauthorised usage, revenue leakage, abuse, fraudindicatorsand emerging business risks.
- Conduct quantitative analysis toidentifytrends, anomalies and opportunities across products, servicesand customer segments.
- Support investigations involving contractual non-compliance and other revenue-impacting activities.
- Identifyrelationships, patterns and connections across customers, users, partnersand entities of interest.
- Produce analytical reports, visualisationsand dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Develop automated processes to improve monitoring, intelligencecollectionand reporting capabilities.
- Partner with Intelligence Analysts, Investigators and Commercial stakeholders to support complex enquiries and investigations.
- Work closely with Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to develop scalable analytical solutions.
- Conduct behavioural, trend and network analysis toidentifyclusters, anomaliesand indicators of misuse.
- Contribute to the development of new methodologies, tools and analytical capabilities that enhance Revenue Protection operations.
YOUR PROFILE
- 2+ years' experience in data analytics, business intelligence, fraud analytics, revenue assurance, investigations, compliance, riskmanagementor a related field.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience using Python, R or equivalent analytical tools for data investigation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, datamodellingand visualisation techniques.
- Experience building dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, Lookeror similar platforms.
- Experience extracting, transformingand analysing data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability toidentifypatterns and root causes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
