Are you a betting expert with an in-depth understanding of odds? Join our dynamic team as we revolutionize the sports betting industry. Due to some exciting growth here at Sportradar we are seeking a Trading Analyst with exceptional betting knowledge to join our MTS team in Central London. Our MTS (Managed Trading Service) is a liability management service for bookmakers and lotteries for both pre‑match and live odds on sports. The service delivers a complete risk management service for all events where odds are offered.

As a Trading Analyst you will be responsible for the daily operation of Sportradar's Managed Trading Service.

The Challenge

  • Live and breathe sports by reacting to information reaching betting markets.
  • Real‑time monitoring of betting activity and risk management of client liabilities.
  • Explore and interrogate betting data by analysing a growing global client base.
  • Effective handling of betting operator queries.
  • Deliver insights in management‑ready reports.
  • Take ownership of improving betting performance.
  • Conduct customer segmentation to validate machine learning outputs.
  • Shape future ways of working by testing trading platforms.
  • Request and quality‑assure new tools and features.

About You

  • Strong familiarity with a wide range of sports, especially those popular in UK, European, and US betting markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of betting markets, odds structures, and risk management of core betting sports (UK, European and US).
  • In‑depth understanding of odds correlation between betting markets.
  • Exceptional mathematical skills, with proficiency in Excel or SQL for odds analysis.
  • Experience working in a similar role within sports or betting industry would be advantageous.
  • Dependable decision‑making skills when under time pressure in a trading environment.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Experience using data visualization tools.
  • Ability to take immediate action in a fast‑moving trading environment.
  • An initiative‑taking team player, able to work with new teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Flexibility to work with shift‑based patterns.
