We are searching for a dynamic, motivated person with sales and sponsorship experience to take on a key role in the ad:s (advertising & sponsorship) division growing our sponsorship/brand partnership business. This person will work with leading global rights-holders including NHL, ATP, Bundesliga and many others, taking responsibility for creating and selling sponsorship rights opportunities and digital activation solutions, with a focus but not limited to global sports betting operators.
Responsibilities- Develop and drive forward Sportradar's sponsorship business with a focus on the sports betting category.
- Contribute to Sportradar's sponsorship business growth strategy, focusing on sports interested brands in adjacent markets and categories.
- Own the sales cycle from prospecting, preparing, pitching through to getting commitment and contracting as well as renewals.
- Manage existing and develop new global sports rights-holder relationships (clubs, teams, leagues, federations) from conceptual discussions through to contracting and representation.
- Introduce and sell-in Sportradar developed technology for the digital activation of new partnerships.
- Contribute to the wider internal sponsorship and ad:s monetization strategy.
- Monitor and highlight international trends in the sponsorship & advertising industry.
- Represent the company at global industry conferences and events.
- Manage sales pipeline on the internal CRM system (Salesforce).
- Senior direct sponsorship sales experience - seven figure partnership deals.
- Experience consulting and advising clients about sponsorship sales and activation.
- Understanding of the sports betting and gaming landscape globally, but in particular across the Europe Region.
- Network across sports rights-holders.
- Positive personality with good networking skills.
- Organizational skills for managing a wide sales pipeline.
- Fluency in English. Any additional language is a plus, Spanish preferable.
- Passionate about sport.
- Willingness to travel.
