Our broader FP&A organization plays a critical role in delivering extraordinary growth and value creation. In an industry where AI in sports technology is redefining fan engagement, our finance leaders must be as sophisticated as our technology: combining financial discipline with commercial acumen and advanced analytics to unlock opportunities across a market growing at double‑digit percent annually.

Reporting to the SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis and Data & Insights, you will lead our revenue performance and planning across all Sportradar. You will manage a global team of five, collaborate with Data & Insights analysts, and partner with commercial and product leaders. Your mission is to architect our next phase of performance through strategic intelligence that drives commercial success: where performance management doesn’t just measure our success but actively drives profitable growth and cash generation through enhanced decision‑making frameworks, clearer market insights, and smarter capital allocation across our ecosystem.

What you’ll own:

  • Revenue Intelligence: Financial analysis and forecasting for complex, global revenue streams.
  • Commercial Partnership: Strategic finance support to Commercial and Product leadership.
  • Global Team Leadership: Build financial, analytical, and commercial capabilities across direct reports and matrix relationships.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Take on challenging business topics and create frameworks that drive clarity and action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive results through people: Build, lead and develop a high‑performing FP&A team while fostering collaboration across analytical functions.
  • Transform data into insights: Own financial analysis and KPI development, leveraging analytical capabilities & resources to surface actionable insights.

  • Shape commercial and product strategy: Serve as senior finance partner, providing sophisticated analysis that influences sales, pricing, product and market strategy.
  • Business problem solving: Take on the complex problems that others avoid and find elegant solutions through better data and frameworks.
  • Build organizational capability: Develop analytical capabilities beyond your direct team to elevate Finance across Sportradar.

How you work:

You ask smart questions, dig until you understand root causes, and build scalable solutions to messy problems. When others say, “it’s never been solved,” you see an interesting challenge. You enable business success through better data and insights. You collaborate across finance and business functions, identifying opportunities to transform how we operate and make decisions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 8-12 years in FP&A/commercial finance, revenue operations, or consulting with 3+ years leading high‑performing teams. MBA and/or other advanced degree valued. Sports/sports data, technology (esp. XaaS), or media industry experience appreciated.
  • Leadership & Talent Development: 3+ years leading analytical and/or finance teams, proven ability to develop talent & drive results.
  • Matrix Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Experience influencing and collaborating across functions without direct authority. Track record of building trust and driving outcomes with senior business leaders.
  • Commercial & financial acumen: modelling and business case development expertise, deep understanding of business drivers, acumen to translate complex analysis into actionable business insights.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel/financial modeling
  • SQL, Python, or R for data analysis & statistical modeling
  • Power BI for visualization

Role Flexibility:

Whether your background is traditional FP&A, revenue operations, strategy consulting, or data science - we want analytical leaders who solve business problems. Don’t meet every qualification? Apply anyway.
