Are you passionate about Data Visualization and Data Analysis? Sportradar is seeking a motivated Data Analyst (Business Intelligence Analyst) to join the fast-paced and dynamic Data Insights team. You will be responsible for the design, creation, and implementation of the reporting layer. You will implement creative approaches to solving complex problems and constantly improve and expand existing reporting interfaces. The role is a key member of the team that will help develop the vision for our Data Insights team. The Data Insights team drives innovation and operational excellence through the projects they support across all units at Sportradar.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Analyse stakeholder requirements and opportunities for improving business decisions and operations efficiency through data analytics.
  • Deliver state-of-the-art data analytics and reporting solutions leveraging our commercial, operational, and business data.
  • Data modelling for reporting and analytics.
  • Development and deployment of data visualizations and reports for management and internal business partners.
  • Present ideas and solutions to business and technical stakeholders clearly and understandably.
  • Documentation of requirements and adherence to data governance protocols.
  • Support the design and build of scalable, reliable, and secure data warehousing architectures and data integration/processing pipelines.
  • Train and empower business users to leverage the business intelligence tools and analytics solutions for driving data-driven decisions and insights.
  • Propose new innovative ways of using data to improve how we monetize our products and services, how we acquire new sport rights, and how we analyze our current and future commercial strategies.
  • Co-create and deliver an ambitious business intelligence roadmap in close coordination with various business and technical stakeholders in the Sportradar group.
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for BI Tools.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Demonstrated technical expertise in business intelligence tools, design and development of dashboards and reporting applications, databases, data modelling, and ETL processes.
  • The successful candidate will be practiced in the hands-on development of software or analytics solutions.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on projects related to data management and/or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases and advanced knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working with BI tools such as Qlik Sense/Qlik View, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent is required.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, and/or Amazon Athena is a plus.
  • Understanding and experience with predictive analytics, statistical modelling, or machine learning is a plus.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Autonomous, rigorous, creative, and a team player.
