We\’re looking for a bright, enthusiastic and organised individual to join us as a Merchandising and Operations Coordinator. This is a perfect opportunity to kick start your career in sports retail!

Upon joining, you will be supported through comprehensive training, led by department leads. This will include upskilling in Excel, CMS and ERP systems.

About SportPursuit (part of the Sportscape Group): We are a group of talented and eager individuals who work hard to deliver the end‑to‑end sales process, starting with launching a variety of great sales to the website every day to ensure these are delivered on time and in full to our 3rd party warehouse. We strive so we can ensure that our 10 million community of sports enthusiasts have an excellent experience at every touch point.

Key responsibilities in this role:

  • Merchandising of products and sale events (from stock list to website), ensuring an immaculate member experience
  • Management of your portfolio of purchase orders for your sale events, using our ERP systems, and taking steps to ensure timely delivery to our warehouse
  • Reconciling PO’s against deliveries and invoices
  • Resolving issues raised by our customer service team related to merchandising
  • Replying to queries from suppliers and colleagues in a timely and effective manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and content‑management systems
  • A high attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Strong time management skills with a natural ability to task‑switch and plan ahead
  • A desire to think commercially and a passion for selling
  • The ability to problem solve effectively
  • Strong written English and verbal communication skill

Nice to have but not essential

  • Interest and/or experience in outdoor market
  • Previous experience in operations and using ERP systems
  • A passion for retail
  • A passion for sport

Please note that we currently do not hold a sponsorship license for work in the UK.
