Are you interested in coaching children? Then we would love to hear from you! Sportivos provides football and sports classes to children aged 18 months – 11 years in a positive and engaging manner. We run weekly weekend sessions at our local venues, birthday parties as well as providing schools with PE cover and after school clubs. The focus of Sportivos is to provide children with fun and inclusive classes where they can find their passion for sport. We are therefore looking to recruit a passionate coach who shares our ethos and will focus on ensuring that each child has a memorable experience, makes new friends, develops lifelong skills and a love for being active.

Role and responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality weekend football classes at our venues in Lancaster & Morecambe
- Deliver our school sports sessions & after school clubs in the South Lakes area
- Sports include: Football, Tri-golf, Archery & multi sports sessions
- Excellent communication skills required with children, parents/carers & school staff to ensure smooth running and success of classes
- You will be responsible for essential equipment
Requirements for application:
- Location: South Lakes, Lancaster & Morecambe
- Start date: ASAP
- Hourly wage: £15 to £20 per hour depending on experience
- Lesson planning for delivering sessions is essential for this coaching position
- Training will be provided
- Ensure class registers and health & safety checks are completed
- Teaching or coaching experience
- FA coaching qualification (preferred)
- Primary school teaching experience (not essential)
- You live in the area or are able to commute to our locations easily
- You have your own transport
- Reliable and committed to weekend work
- Confident, out-going personality, great with children
- Enhanced disclosure certificate
- First aid & safeguarding qualifications (Preferred)
- Full driving licence and access to car (Essential)
- Physically fit and well-presented
Starting hours: 14hrs per week (school sports programme + Saturday 9am– 12 and Sunday 9am-11am)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
