As a member of our QTS team, you will be a key contributor in developing quantitative models and tools required for trading a wide range of sports with an emphasis on using the best possible techniques and technologies to enable continuous improvement of price accuracy, performance and content.

Your main responsibilities are to:

  • Produce logical modelling solutions for business requirements
  • Adapt model features and content in line with business priorities
  • See work through from development to delivery and maintain accordingly
  • Create statistical and machine learning models to expand and enhance model performance
  • Assist in the development of new data-driven methodologies
  • Be involved in the verification of proposed changes, especially on derivative effects
  • Clearly explain methodologies used and reasons why to model consumers
  • Understand how the models interact with the internal systems to produce and provide prices
  • Create and maintain visualisation and analysis tools for stakeholders around the business
  • Work closely with the business to understand requirements
  • Build strong relationships across the business with other teams

Skills required:

  • A mathematical background – PhD, Masters or Bachelor’s degree in STEM
  • Computer programming skills in technologies such as C#, Python, R
  • Knowledge of statistical and machine learning modelling techniques
  • Ability to solve problems and detail reasons on the methods chosen
  • Excellent communication skills, able to understand and translate complex technical information to others
  • Understanding of the sports betting industry, sports trading, and sports modelling

  • Experience of building mathematical models
  • Experience of working in the sports betting industry
  • The ability to mentor and work with other members of the team
