Are you a driven B2B sales professional with a passion for live events, entertainment, and sport? We're working with a leading live events venue operator in the Midlands to appoint a Head of Business Development - a high-profile, commercially pivotal role responsible for driving new corporate revenue across two world-class entertainment venues.
This isn't an account management role. We want a genuine new business hunter - someone who gets energy from building pipelines from scratch, opening doors at senior level, and closing meaningful deals. You'll own the full B2B sales cycle, from prospecting through to contract, targeting senior decision makers and C-suite executives across corporate sectors.
- Premium Memberships (corporate hospitality, executive experiences) and Commercial Partnerships - both high-value, high-impact propositions with real commercial weight behind them.
- Delivering high-impact pitches, proposals, and venue tours to senior business stakeholders.
- Leading deals from first contact to signed contract, with a focus on quality and speed of conversion.
- Working collaboratively with Programming, Marketing, and Operations to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Representing the venues at corporate functions, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Reporting into the Commercial Director with one direct report of your own.
Solid B2B or corporate sales experience - ideally from sport, entertainment, media, or a venue/events environment. Confidence in pipeline management, CRM reporting, and commercial forecasting. The drive, resilience, and commercial instinct to consistently hit and exceed targets.
