Football - North West Finance Manager

Sporting Jobs are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious football club in the North West of the UK for the role of Finance Manager. Our client is seeking a highly skilled finance professional to oversee the club’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the club’s financial affairs, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to senior management. You will work closely with the club’s executive team to support decision-making and ensure the club’s financial stability.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing the club’s financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting
2. Preparing financial reports and providing strategic financial advice
3. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
4. Overseeing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
5. Liaising with external auditors and managing financial audits

Our client is looking for a candidate with strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and experience in a similar role within sports. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
